Frequently asked
- What is a "wird"?
- A small, fixed portion of worship you return to every day. The app's guide (Wird tab → "New to dhikr?") explains the idea, with sources.
- Why does the app ask for my location?
- Only to calculate your local prayer times on the device, so the morning window really runs Fajr → sunrise and the evening window Asr → Maghrib where you live. Nothing is sent anywhere — the app makes no network requests at all. Without permission, sensible default windows are used.
- How do I change the language?
- Settings → Language. Turkish and English are available; the app follows your device language until you choose one explicitly.
- How do the reminders work?
- Settings → Daily reminder. When enabled, you get at most two quiet notifications a day, at the start of the morning and evening dhikr windows. They are scheduled locally on your device.
- I mis-tapped the counter — how do I go back?
- Tap ↺ once to undo one count. Long-press ↺ to reset the dhikr to zero (you'll be asked to confirm).
- Where is my record stored? Can anyone see it?
- Only on your device. There are no accounts and no server; nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app deletes the record.
- Does the app work offline?
- Completely. It never connects to the internet.
